Detailed Web Transaction Counters and Filtering Options for Isolating Performance Bottlenecks
Now you can more efficiently isolate performance problems within your architecture. Detailed Web transactions counters provide powerful drill-down capabilities to facilitate root-cause analysis of client, server and network performance bottlenecks. New filtering options enable you to quickly view the performance of specific page views or request objects within a transaction to better isolate application-level performance issues.
Server-side Monitoring
The new server-side monitoring allows you to correlate system performance statistics with client-side transaction metrics to more effectively diagnose server resource contention issues under load.
Customized and Canned Reporting
OpenLoad 3.0 provides a facility for creating customized reports containing your own descriptive analysis of graphical and tabular test data. A set of pre-defined canned reports is also available, allowing you to easily generate extensive reports on transaction performance, server scalability, errors rates and more for one or more test result sets. These reports are easily exportable to PDF, XML and CSV file formats.
Flash and Shockwave Support
OpenLoad 3.0 provides out of the box support for rich client applications leveraging Flash and Shockwave (including Macromedia’s new Flash MX).
XML Based User Scenarios
OpenLoad 3.0 automatically captures all Document Object Model elements and stores them in XML based test scripts for each recorded user scenario, which can be exported, customized and then imported back into the system via the Recorder.
Improved Data Driven Testing Support
OpenLoad 3.0 offers greater flexibility for data driven testing by providing a facility to import test data from external sources in addition to the existing auto-sense and auto-increment parameterization options.
Built-in Application Server Support
OpenLoad 3.0 automatically manages session variables and recognizes common errors that occur under load for WebSphere, ColdFusion, PeopleSoft, Microsoft ASP, WebLogic, BroadVision, ATG Dynamo, NetDynamics, WebObjects and most other custom and commercial development
environments.
HTTP and HTML Validation
The new Recorder allows you to validate HTTP request and response headers for each recorded object and provides full page foot prints and view times. With built-in HTML validation by W3C standards, developers are assured their pages will be cross compatible with multiple browsers.
