Baird Technology Group, Inc.
"We Make Technology Work! TM"

Robert Baird, one of the founders, stated his company in 1989 by working on a Juvenal Offenders tracking system, for a Federally funded project. Over the next several years he had the opportunity to work with other highly talented computer professionals. They began working as a lose association. In 1999, Robert and the other founders decided it was time to create a corporation. The founders decided to name the corporation Baird Technology Group, Inc. out of respect for Robert's abilities and his family values. Here is a little background on the Baird Family origins.

The Baird Family name has it's origins in Scotland. The original bearer of the surname Baird was likely a "Bard" or minstrel. Their role was to celebrate the Clan's deeds in battle and stir the loyalty of the clan members during the periods leading to war and to pass on the oral history of the clan.

John Logie Baird was a Scottish Electrical Engineer who was an early pioneer in television.

Margaret Baird who graduated at age 17 with a Masters degree. Margaret's married name was Trent, joined AT&T and was responsible for developing the current transatlantic telephone cables and the ships.
